    • Submit a Letter of Attestation from former educational institutions.
    • Provide NYSC discharge certificate or exemption certificate (for civilians).
    • Present all original educational certificates (from primary to post-secondary).
    • No body inscriptions or tattoos are allowed.
    • Must not have been convicted by any court of law.
    • Military personnel must not have any disciplinary case and must be endorsed by their Commanding Officer/Commander.

Conditions of Service

  1. Tenure:
    • The SSC will be granted for 15 years, with an initial active list of 10 years (renewable for up to 5 years). No extension will be granted after the 15th year unless converted to a regular combatant commission.
  2. Rank and Conversion:
    • Officer cadets who complete training will be commissioned as Second Lieutenants.
    • SSC officers may convert to Regular Combatant Commission based on availability and other criteria.
  3. Service Reckoning:
    • The service period for civilian officers will start from the commencement of cadet training. For military personnel, it will begin from their enlistment date.
