Job Overview
The Drill Team Quality Representative Coordinator III will be stationed in Onne, Rivers, working on a contract basis. The position adheres to a standard work schedule of 5 days on and 2 days off, ensuring a balanced work-life integration. The primary responsibility of the coordinator is to provide functional guidance to the Drill Team Quality Representative (DTQR) network and coordinate its activities. The selected candidate will ensure that the DTQRs are well-acquainted with the Drilling Quality Management System and have all the tools and support required to meet the goals set for the Drill Team.
Main Function
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Offer functional guidance to the DTQR network and ensure effective coordination of activities.
- Ensure that DTQRs are oriented with the Drilling Quality Management System and equipped with the necessary resources to achieve their objectives.
Responsibilities
The Level 3 responsibilities of this role go beyond the basic tasks of Level 1 and Level 2 positions, including:
- Developing Equipment Receiving Inspection Programs: Ensures that all equipment received complies with industry standards and is inspected thoroughly before usage.
- Creating Equipment Preventative Maintenance, Inspection, and Test Programs: Vital for maintaining equipment in optimal condition, reducing downtime, and preventing delays.
- Establishing Pre-Job Service Tool & Equipment Inspections and Preparations: Verifies that tools and equipment are in proper working order before any job starts.
- Conducting Inventory Maintenance Inspections: Ensures up-to-date inventory and minimizes operational risks by inspecting equipment regularly.
- Reporting to Drill Team Management on Contractor Performance: Provides regular performance reports to ensure transparency and address any concerns.
- Facilitating Contractor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Establishes and monitors KPIs to track and ensure contractor performance meets required standards.
- Educating Drill Team Personnel on Quality Management System Requirements: Trains personnel on industry standards, ensuring compliance with the company’s Quality Management System.
Skills and Qualifications

- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from a recognized institution is mandatory.
- Experience: Applicants should have 10 to 31 years of experience, particularly in positions closely related to this role. Previous experience in oilfield-related work is highly preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Candidates must be well-versed in API Standards, API Spec Q1, API Spec Q2, ISO 9001, and practices related to manufacturing, inspecting, transporting, installing, maintaining, and storing oilfield equipment.
- Specialized Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of ASNT inspection practices and T.H. Hill DS-1 drill string inspections is required. Completion of an ISO 9001 Lead Course is also essential.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in oilfield drilling and completion engineering or operations is crucial. Experience with rig equipment and operations is necessary.
- Leadership and Organizational Skills: The role demands strong self-motivation and the ability to influence others without direct authority, including the Drill Team, Quality Team, and Service Providers.
