Our main office is in Ikoyi, southwest Lagos. We have six smaller companies under us, each focusing on different parts of flying.

Two other related companies work closely with us too. We’re in nine places: five in Lagos, two in Abuja, and one each in Kano and Port Harcourt.

Job Title: Head of Sales

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Purpose

As the Head of Sales, your main tasks involve creating important sales strategies, plans, and actions to grow the business.

You need to effectively carry out these plans to meet your financial goals. Your responsibilities also include meeting yearly targets, forming relationships, and grasping customer trends.

Responsibilities

Customer Acquisition and Profitability: Identify and acquire new customers while ensuring their profitability.

Contribution to Growth Strategy: Actively contribute to the company’s growth strategy and overall business plan.

Supervision of Sales Team: Oversee the sales team’s call plan through Business Development Managers. Manage and lead sales teams across different branches.

Forecasting and Target Achievement: Provide accurate forecasts and ensure all branch targets are met.

Policy Development and Enforcement: Develop, establish, and enforce goals, policies, and procedures for the sales team.

Training and Development:

  • Conduct weekly/monthly sales meetings and trainings.
  • Define Key Result Areas (KRAs) for Account Officers aligned with annual targets.
  • Conduct regular Monthly Performance Reviews (MPRs).

Client Relationship Management: Handle client complaints urgently according to company policy.

Market and Competitor Analysis: Stay updated with market and industry trends, competitor strategies, and leading customer insights.

Marketing Strategy and Execution: Set a long-term strategic marketing vision aligned with growth objectives. Lead all marketing activities and measure performance using appropriate metrics.

Strategic Relationships: Maintain, develop, and explore new strategic relationships within the sector to foster brand growth.

Performance Evaluation: Review and analyze sales performance against programs, quotes, and plans to gauge effectiveness.

Miscellaneous Responsibilities: Undertake any other related tasks as required.

Requirements

Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Minimum of a B.Sc. in Business Management or a related field; an M.Sc. or MBA is advantageous.
  • Professional qualifications/certifications are beneficial.

Experience:

  • At least 8 years of professional experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role in direct sales.
  • Experience in travel or luxury jet travel is highly desirable.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong prospecting and closing skills.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Experience in the Travel Industry is advantageous.
  • Focus on delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of handling multiple projects and setting priorities.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethics.
  • Excellent leadership and managerial skills.
  • Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving targets.
