We are looking for an Equipment Operations Student at our North American Headquarters in Edmonton, Alberta, for a 4-month term starting in September 2024. As part of our team, you will help the Equipment Operations administrative team by creating and keeping equipment files, entering data, and auditing.

Responsibilities
- Enter data into the equipment system and ensure it is correct (set up new assets, update information).
- Help get approvals for Authorization for Expenditures (AFE) and Authorization for Disposals (AFD) forms.
- Collect, review, and analyze time-entry receipts.
- Support districts with time-entry processes.
- Keep electronic and paper files for assets and customs.
- Help create reports as needed.
- Enter standard, project, and competitive rates into our JD Edwards Oracle system.
- Build and maintain strong, customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Currently studying for a degree or diploma in business or a related field.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Great attention to detail and ability to analyze daily tasks.
- Ability to learn on your own and keep up with new technologies.
- Understanding of quality services and good customer service.
- Basic knowledge and use of equipment and tools is a plus.
- Understanding of basic financial concepts.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to handle changing deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain good relationships with stakeholders.
- Basic skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
